@1977 it's great, although I did not see it entirely as we were allowed only on the pathway along the perimeter of the park (the grassy areas where fenced off). There is a ground fountain that moves along with the bus movements down below which I was not aware was being built.
It looks decent, but nothing unique or groundbreaking. A little bit value engineered, IMO. Would've liked to see more interesting pavers rather than the boring cement, and the landscaping looks a bit too orderly and organized.
^ It’s more like a mini Central Park than the High Line.

Good to hear. Looking forward to seeing it in person.
In regards to the kinetic/bus fountain, John King posted a video of it a few days ago.
I really don't know where all the baloney is coming from regarding the cost of the tunnels linking caltrain (and maybe highspeed).
Are they talking about TBM costing between 4 and 6 billion??
This was the cost breakdown for the tunnels on the muni central subway:
The Tunnels contract was awarded in June 2011, to the Joint Venture of
Barnard/Impregilo/Healy. The $233.9 million contract consisted of 1.5
miles of twin-bore tunnels underneath Fourth Street and Stockton Street,
from I-80 to North Beach.
Most of the cost for second ave, central subway, crossrail and such is for the stations.
Anyone know where the fantasy, bloated price for the tunnels is coming from?
i think i read somewhere that it was 0.55 miles around the park
I actually found an article that states that exactly!

If lollygagging isn’t your thing, this part is a boon for fitness types who will jump at the chance to walk or jog length of the .55-mile walking path around the rooftop park.
I was amazed as to how big this thing is! It is quite amazing. I like it. Some great views of the high rise buildings populating the South of Market area. I will go back later this week when it is not crowded. My guess there were 20,000 or more people there today - after an hour I fled the place as it got more crowded. I look forward to waling in the rain this winter on the garden level.
