Cool drone video of St. B, Winnipeg skyline and The Forks at night. The second link is the river trail, skyline and The Forks during the day.

Cool footage, thanks.

Anyone know what the maximum altitude one can fly these drones? Engineering companies are using drone planes to complete land surveys. And they need to go through approvals, flight plans, etc, just like a regular plane taking off from the airport. Even though the take off by slingshot in a farmers field, nowhere near anything. Never mind this guy flying over top of everything in Winnipeg! Cool stuff.

Looking at your renders in the diagrams section, it looks like Tower 2 is about the same height as MTS Place and the Scotiabank Tower almost as tall as the Radisson. Those are quite substantial especially being so close together in a former surface parking lot. It will definitely be a fantastic addition to Winnipeg's streetscape and skyline. Once again, great job Triton.

I was happy af when i noticed the collective height of the towers when i made the diagram The street presence of this will be amazing, and i fear it might be underrated.

Hopefully i will be able to have the diagrams for the other 2 towers up soon.

New proposal, new renders. This is getting unreal.

I'll have a render with a finished version and the 360 main reclad as well in the future.

I had a feeling you would be working on 300 Main almost immediately. I await with anticipation your final renders, Triton.

They'll be up here soon for sure. For now i can only play around in awe and imagine what pictures like this would look like in real life.

the change from 2005 to 2025 could be ridiculous if we keep getting proposals.

The parcel 4 development will no longer look like that... But damn 300 main looks huge!

300 main is really big. Give or take 7 meters, it would be about that tall, right up front too. This tower would have a huge amount of presence because of it's placement. From many angles, it appears to be just as high, or really close in height to SkyCity even though it isn't.

I wish parcel 4 still was going to be similar to what was conceptualized, it's too bad that at least one highrise was kept, it would fit well.

Has parcel 4 changed substantially from this rendering?

That looks amazing. And a complete change for this city. Wonder if we have hit that critical mass and this may become more common.

Are they still using the blue glass for the forks? I like it as it stands out.

If SkyCity and 300 Main are the only taller skyscrapers we see built over the next few years, that is alright based on how prominent they will be. Smaller buildings scattered around to densify the downtown can be the focus.

I have a feeling once these two break ground a lot more investors will be watching Winnipeg. This city has amazing views still to be had. And it's nice we will finally break the 30 story roadblock

I could see this happening too. A simple marketing campaign, "It is Winnipeg's time".

so I was playing with sketchup and had a bit too much fun seeing what winnipeg would look like if those lots on south main were filled with several billions of dollars of developments.

Thanks guys. I was thinking of some sort of complex spanning the tracks for the railside parcel that flows into the parking lots next to the station. Some sort of pedestrian plaza in the middle with a walkway at sort of track level that leads to parcel 4. Ah to dream...

My image won't show how do I fix it?
Hey optimusREIM...

Looked at the problem for a moment, dropbox is a little complicated at times...kinda frames the image and asks you to download it, not the actual link to make it public...etc... anyway..

Just use the link I used to make the photo image visible publicly.(use your edit post feature) Hope this helped..

Love your vision...
