Westrich owns it....

They are supposedly planning for one tower up to 170m with about 600-700 units.

Westrich's 4-5 tower plan for Grandin, with The View being the first tower.

WJP and Copperblock...I'll let those involved communicate such.

McKernan Gates - Nothing public yet, but same individual behind the project in Belgravia.

Agree 100%. It's a great site. Lots of great information presented in a very clear format.

I know WJP is Beljan and McKernan is Niche Developments. Not sure about Copperblock though.

And probably with a budget a kabillion times bigger than Edm's DBA.

(It is a good website though.)

We're involved in the Copperblock project in Inglewood.

Nice! Is this the project on 111th that's been getting some community backlash? My parents live in Inglewood so I frequent often, the community is bursting with infill and is ripe for more than just skinny homes.

It's been interesting watching the area transition from a pretty rundown community to young professionals wanting a home close to the core. 123rd Street and 115th is a block with more than half the homes being new skinny's and it looks great. I'm excited for the near future where we'll have some of these mature blocks just stretched with new homes.

To be honest the community league has been a pleasure to work with. Sure, we may not agree on the proposed scale and density but we've had meaningful discussions/debates with them. There are a few community leagues that could learn a few things from them.

Inglewood has big upside imo. It's still a very affordable, centrally-located neighbourhood.
