I consider this to be the most significant first floor since I moved to Austin in '82. Historic if this ends up being the tallest forever. A giant is born. I think I'm going to call him.....Dave.

People coming and going not realizing the building under construction they're passing will one day be the 6th tallest in Texas.

I'm really hoping that LA developer goes tall for the railyard sites and 6XG is no longer the tallest. We'll see!

Eh, 6th places are almost never worth mentioning.

What we really need is a 1000+ ft tower. That would be worth talking about.

6th place, but only because we count spires. So the Renaissance Tower in Dallas beats it by 2 feet. To the roof only, it'll be the 5th tallest in Texas. The thing to remember is that the only buildings in Texas with higher roofs will be three 900+ foot tall buildings, including one that is 992 feet, and the tallest in Texas at 1,002 feet. At 848 feet, 6 X Guadalupe would still be the tallest building in 39 states and all of Canada outside of Toronto. At the moment, it would be the tallest in Mexico, but they have a few buildings under construction that will be taller.

YES!!!! Hells yea for probs A&B! Parking sucks but notice the local auto dealers pumping $$$$ into the transit opposition groups. I'll never forget the slogan of the 2000 campaign against rail, "This won't even open until 2007" as though that day would never come. Go vote! Get your peeps to vote! And talk to your friends and family about Props A & B!

Mass text every person you’ve ever met in Austin and tell them to vote yes to Prop A and B.

And tell them to do the same.
