The cladding on this one is pretty good.

This intersection will have a New York feel to it once, this Cinema Towers, are complete, then add in the Bond and Pinnacle 2 Condos and a crazy pedestrian area will feel even smaller and much more crowded. Especially on clubbing nights.

Hooters and Active Green & Ross really need to go though.

Can the intersection handle that kind of density?

The 165m height limit is very silly. I don't see the need for it.

The Parkside Village development in Mississauga is approaching similar density.

Nonetheless great photos. I love how the austerity of Pinnacle looks against the Miami-esque orange/white color of the Cinema tower.

Blame the egg head Adam Vaughan.

I am not a fan of the height limit in the area, but at the same time I find it funny how these developers decided to build 3 towers so close together with essentially the same heights. You'd think Pinnacle would say, "let's make this one 33-35 stories" and then build Pinnacle on Adelaide 2 at 44+ stories.

This block has become a clusterfu*k of mediocrity.

I think the density will payoff in bringing the area upscale.

If Mirvish gets through, it can be the design and architectural focal point.

It's a bit silly looking but there are still a few shacks and lots scattered between these towers.

I'd love to see them replaced with a 20-25 traditional brick high rise and a 20 story office tower.

It's really backwards simplistic thinking. What matters is that infrastructure grows to meet the demands placed on it by added density. 65m? 165m? 265m? 365m? That doesn't matter at all.

Those balconies inset behind that concrete facade look very dull and gloomy. I can't imagine it will be great living in those units.
