Thanks YNAT! I would have liked aluminium panels throughout, but up to the 4th floor is good.

After four floors you won't be able to tell anyway, unless you lived in one of the units. As long as they can match the colours I am good with that.

Very true. The Montana was done the same way, by having brick for the first 5 or 6 floors and then stucco afterwards.

Wow that is a massive amount of sq. footage in that building. Probably more than one guardian tower worth.

It's a hell of a lot of units...and rental units at that. I'm curious to see what the rental market is like after This one, The two Auras, New Generation, Maple Projects, and Royal View are completed.

The rental market is what is driving so many of the high rises u/c. There is also one proposed for East Village, and the four tower one where Bernard Callebaut is.

A complete 180 flip on the way the market is. I'm not complaining though, as I believe it's good for the city. I also believe that it's a good way to get projects up and running as there is no marketing/sales process. The financing gets approved and up they go! I have a feeling many of the buildings will be turned to condos at a later date.

Driving into downtown from the north, along 14 ST, this thing looks absolutely massive. I am a bit concerned about its tremendous width giving it an overbearing presence on the skyline. It is several times wider than just about any other building in the area. The massing reminds me of Gulf Canada Square!
