Not sure about Zellers. Of course there was lots of rumors. Heard cosco, prince auto, etc etc. Apprently Zellers still holds a lease for over another year in the mall, so that complicates things for a new tenant. Would be nice to see something go there.
Pretty quiet around Campbellton. A big lot resently sold in Atholvillle, rumor was another car dealer going there, but not sure.

Those leases are the worst. Its the same thing here where they still hold the lease until November if I'm not mistaken. Its a big space to fill for just one tenant, I think its more likely that they will divise it in smaller spaces once the lease is done.

Hope for you guys its a not already present in town dealership!

How is Zenabis coming along?

Zenabis progress seems slow, but the company says its still moving ahead with the project. From what I hear government permits is slowing them down.

Yeah wondering if someone is monitoring this site, an article this morning on radio canada about the slow progress of the company and this last one is saying exactly that, that the approval of the permits is slowing them down

We already know the T&T pays close attention to SSP, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Have also heard that there was two confirmed stores for Place Bathurst Mall but have not heard anything about space for 4, or of any names. I was there yesterday and there was no signs of any work going on in there.

Only thing I could find was that it was a significant project that will create jobs, nobody seems to be aware of it, they kind of gave ample notification, 2 months in advance!

Are you aware of any activity at the port of Dalhousie other than wood chip exportation??

On the Edmundston side, the old CCNB atop Power Road has been sold to a developer from Alberta. Plan are for commercial and residential re-development of the land.

Sorry article in French only
http://www.infoweekend.ca/actualites...e-lancien-ccnb

Little is said about the project or information on the developer, most of the article talks about the developer having agreed to conserve part the current park on the old CCNB property.

No. Haven't heard anything about what is going at Dalhousie. As far as I know, there is only woodchips going through the port now.
Zenabis in Atholville is still waiting for approval to open and operate there plant from Ottawa.

The vacant land & former CCNB Edmundston location is now owned by a company from Alberta. I think it's a good thing, Edmundston in general has seen better days; some new developments and jobs would be a good thing in Madawaska county and anywhere in New Brunswick for that matter.

Read in the northern light today that they have halted the destruction of the pipeline and tank farm of the power plant since there has been interest from the private sector, the pipeline runs from the tank farm to the port, wonder if this has anything to do with the announcment

Edmundston:

The brick is supposed to be the first confirmed Tennant of the new strip at grey rock power centre

http://cimt.teleinterrives.com/nouve...ampleur_-18441

And also, the second phase of the sports complex, a 2400 seat hockey rink/multi use venue. Its just a conceptual plan to show what it would look like, if financing comes along, it will most likely go ahead by 2017
