I hiked the South Kaibab to Bright Angel trail, and took some shots of an amazing sunset the night before. Walking up to the canyon rim for the first time at sunset is one of my most vivid memories; truly awe inspiring. Like all other images of Mother Nature, these pictures clearly don't do the canyon full justice, but it helps jog that first memory when the canyon opened into full view.
