Skyscraper Simulator

I wanted to post about my simulator in here, since I think lots of people would find it really interesting. The original version of it (1.0) is from 2004, and I've been doing a complete rewrite since then - I released the first public version in January this year (4 1/2 years of development), and the 4th release will be out soon. I'm also looking for help (mainly with C++ coding), since I've been the only person making it.

But here's the basic info on it:
Skyscraper is an open-source 3D building simulator and uses my backend simulation engine called the Scalable Building Simulator. It simulates buildings in first-person 3D (including elevators, stairs, shaftwork, etc), and buildings are written in a scripting language I designed (it comes with a manual for the scripting language too). The buildings that are available are my redesigned 141-story Triton Center (which is the most complete of the buildings; I made a complete set of floorplans for it), the Glass Tower (from the Towering Inferno; half of the exterior is theoretical and only part of the exterior has been made), and the Sears Tower (currently have about 80 elevators working). There's a demonstration building called "Simple", and also some buildings created by users of the program. For a more in-depth explanation of the whole thing, watch my tutorial/demo videos that I'll post links to below. The program comes with full source code, and uses the Crystal Space graphics engine and the wxWidgets windowing system.

The website is here (will be redesigned very soon, since it looks way too old):

and the forum is here:

Wow I will download that once I get home!

How does it work? I mean it's first person, right?

So you just click on the elevator buttons and it takes you up to that floor?

Have you ever thought about making this compatible with google sketchup as a ruby console plugin?

Only if Sketchup could then output the data in a format that my simulator can use to create the interactive environment. The Ruby console for Sketchup works in a similar way to my app's scripting language interface (since both instruct the related apps on what to do).
