All of the new additions (Peachtree/7th, Peachtree/3rd, Modera Buckhead, Juniper/5th, 1781 Buckhead, & Buckhead Place Market) are incredibly exciting. Seeing this kind of activity intown that will increase density and enhance walkability is really thrilling.

Not to mention it feels like architecturally the caliber of projects is going way up.

There is actually a significant amount of work left to be done on PCM. Don't get me wrong, I went last weekend when the beltline connection opened and it's incredible, but that photo will look very different when taken again in a few months.

Midtown Construction

I finally got around to adding all of the new projects (I think). There are well over 110 active projects in the city.

The warehouse at 269 Armour Drive NE in the Armour Yards district will be converted into a bar called The District, according to plans filed with the City of Atlanta Tuesday. The bar and lounge, located directly across the street from SweetWater Brewing Company, will attempt to maintain its warehouse-style feel and ambience as it makes alterations ahead of opening. An outdoor seating area will also be added on the street-facing side. Renovations on the 11,743-square-foot space will cost an estimated $205,000.

It looks like the apartment project at 903 Huff Road has started site prep.

The parking deck for Alexan Glenwood is going up, so that one can be listed as under construction.

22 14th Street

Driving by 22 14th Street this morning, I noticed that they have put up chains to block people from parking in the surface lot and removed the payment boxes. They also erected power poles/meters and have marked all the trees with an X for removal. Given the fact that they're willing to forgo $10,000 - $15,000 a month for parking revenue, I can only assume they're ready to move some dirt.

Really glad to see some movement on this!

There must have been some minor redesign of the project. Their land development permit had been ready to issue for a couple of months and now several segments of the permit are once again under review.

Thanks smartallone for updating this list. It's a great resource. I wonder if a moderator can "sticky" this to the top of the page?

Heavy equipment onsite as well doing grading. It also looks like they might be doing some site work at the Willoughby site.
