just as i hoped it would look. it is looking every bit like a supertall. right? am i right or am i right? it just jumps out at you as if it where. it isn't of course but it has that effect when you see it. hahaha. i love this one and it is far and away my favorite canadian tower at this moment.

for the folks calling this tower ugly,,, if you want to see truly ugly buildings you need to got to miami. this tower would be a godsend if it where built there. i dont think its ugly when you compare it with many other towers from the very cities in which the naysayers live. just saying

it's not the prettiest, but still above average by Toronto standards in terms of what has been built in the last decade. Problem is it's hard to hide faults when you build something this tall

Taken today from the Fairview garage:

That's the crux of it there, but overall this building looks spectacular from most angles. If they had gone with a material like what was depicted in the renderings (silver metallic and reflective) instead of the spandrel it would have been one of the best.

^ I agree the design is far better than the material they used. if the material was good this tower would have been one of the best.

Aura does look good from certain angles. Not amazing, but good. I am liking how the top portion is turning out.
