Red face TORONTO | Tableau | 402 ft / 123 m | 36 FLOORS

117 Peter St. & 287 Richmond St. W.

http://www.tableaucondos.com/home

tableau by SSP Tony, on Flickr
Rendering by Wallman Architects.

This application has been around for a little while (Aug 2009 submitted). But has recently had its zoning amended for adoption. It's not what I'd call a pretty tower, and is by an essentially no-name architect. IMO, it will "blandify" the corner to yet another condo...

Interesting how the base of the tower is done.

Yea, the tower doesn't look terribly interesting in either size or design. But hey, at least it isn't blue glass...

True enough, looks like it might look similar in shade to X Condo in Yorkville.

Not a pretty tower but added density is always good.

I hope the podium get's rejected by council.

I think the podium looks pretty good. This is one of my favourite projects in the district.

I wonder how sales are going?

Bisha is supposedly over 60%. - this one should be somewhere close to that, as with the Mercer

I think Bisha should be another 2012 start, along with Studio on Richmond, Theatre Park, and possibly Peter Street Condos. I would assume The Mercer should be on the list too considering how long it's been on the market, although not much news regarding it.

Theatre Park is actually going to start this month - that was the word from Brad Lamb. - So I guess we'll have to wait until TIFF is over to see any permits filed to clear out the parking lot first.

The tower looks very cool but the podium looks butchy and incredibly ugly imo. A podium designed similar to FlatIron lofts would have been a nice touch.

To me this design is almost perfect alforbit's location in the club district. Again, don't know where sales stand on this one, but going by other projects this one should be underway before the end of 2012.

The podium looks kinda cool, though that atrium looks like a big empty space, and plans for it?

It's space for the sidewalk and public art. You can see that green thing at the back of the rendering.

Site prep has begun on this one. That means to construction site at this intersection, Queen Richmond Centre West on the northwest corner and this one on the southeast corner.

Photo's by me from Sunday March 11, 2012.

That club was goodtimes in my youth.

Oh well, times are changing in clubland. Going upscale.

But I will always have the memories.

I had completely forgotten about this one. I like it. Nothing great, but a change from the norm that will add some good density to the area.
