Cafe Luxy closed on Davis. That place was an institution.

Work has begun on the Italian Kitchen, as it moves from Alberni to Burrard (where Francesco's was), opposite the Sutton Place Hotel

Wow, thanks for the pic. Last time I was there it was all boarded up. I am far from a Cactus Club fan but it does add some visual interest to the mall there.

Tractor keeps steamrolling

The Steamrollers at Broadway and Heather has finally cleared out.

I must not have been paying attention at Broadway and Ash for a while, as I was unaware Mucho Burrito had closed. It feels like Tractor has been undergoing an expansion push for some time.

Lots of money. Who has deeper pockets them, Freshii or Railtown Cafe?

Freshii is having expansion pains lately, so I doubt they will be able to match what Tractor is doing.

Freshii is a franchise model, if I'm not mistaken.

I don't believe Tractor or Railtown are franchised.
