Wow, what a great new spot on the river that's going to be!

^Agreed, this is going to be one of the most fantastic open spaces in the city offering spectacular view in all directions. This building has really turned out to be a homerun, my favorite built in quite some time.

The plaza is turning out great. I just wish they would have incorporated a fountain or reflecting pool of some type into it. Nice to have alot of sitting space for lunch breaks though.

Cool perspective, will Vista or Stern's skyscrapers be visible from that plaza?

Vista definitely. It will poke up above the Wyndham Grand, London House and its neighbors.

As for OBP, not so sure. I feel like it will be obstructed by 300 N. LaSalle and some of closer River North towers.

Here's a sketch-up someone did from the Vista Thread (though it should probably be positioned slightly further north/left):

Plastic wrapping around the north restaurant portion this morning. Must mean Gibsons finally has a layout and design?

Great building. A shame in some ways that no residential component. Trying to recall from my short time living in Chicago some great residential Riverfront buildings. What are they?

The Marina Towers and Trump Tower are probably the most prominent of those. Most of the river(other than those three and LSE) is covered in office buildings/hotels

Does the 200 North Riverside designation survive at all in any way or can we get rid of it? I almost wouldn't be surprised if 150 North Riverside ends up with high name recognition -- and its riverwalk and river frontage get high visibility -- that this building then would prefer to be known as 200 North Riverside instead of 444 West Lake. I suppose though by the time of tenant move-ins they'll be locked into whatever name they're using at that point.

Hines. Yes, please!

Office buildings done well. Done right. Is there a better developer out there? (Serious question, not rhetorical. I'm not too familiar.)

If someone is in the area with a camera can you please snap some shots of the West side sidewalk level. I havent seen any updates of that lower side in awhile.
