You know what's really crazy? (This goes a bit off topic) but I did some estimates on what we could end up with in rainfall by the end of December. Using my meteorological knowledge and considering variables. It is likely we will end up somewhere between 65 and 70 inches which would break the all time record yearly rainfall set in 1919. Very facenating and mind boggling. I've also confered with a friend who is a pro met, in fact he is one of the local news head mets, and he agrees with my assessment.
Even though this is off topic, in a way it does relate to construction when you consider the delays and changing timelines that developers have to deal with. I know they take into account weather delays from the get go but this has been an exceptional year in that regard. I wonder how this has affected North Shore and other projects? For example if they are a couple of weeks or possibly a month from the origional completion date or if they have been able to cope with little time delay.
Lovely pictures!!! The Downtown skyline is getting more and more impressive each day. North Shore may end up as one of my top 5 favorite highrises. It's not just about the building itself or its design. For me it also has to do with its location and placement in the skyline and how it relates to surrounding towers. It's location makes it one of the most dominant waterfront highrises.
