^hell, Yes I agree with all that. I will take the drenching over the drought. I am firm in my belief of anthropogenic climate change.

i was looking forward to the pool this weekend...and well. I had to drain off 3 inches again. Did the same last weekend. And I had a nice leak in one of my bedrooms.

I was so giddy the first time I saw this five or so years ago. Also good was the end of the episode where Archie is trying to "explain" to Edith that he lost his Christmas bonus by virtue of sending a package to the wrong London.

I will be living in London for two weeks with my mom and dad who are going for a kidney transplant surgery on the 6th at the University Hospital..

We have an apartment at 405 which are those ugly 25 floor apartment buildings downtown. Since I'm going back before my parents are, I have to take my own vehicle and there is not enough room for two vehicles here. Does anyone know of a place that I can park my car at for two weeks while I'm in London. I don't care if I have to pay. The car will not be moving much for those two weeks so a place where I don't have to worry about moving the car for the lot to be plowed would be ideal. I will be arriving on January 4th around supper time and will be leaving the morning of January 17.

Last thing is my mom has some food allergies and needs to buy some organic stuff. What is the best place to shop for food that has a good organic section in the store.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

For the organic stuff I would try the Covenant Garden market downtown or Wortley Village which is a pleasant walk just a few blocks south of downtown.

Soon the Farhi name might appear on blood sugar monitoring devices?

The name is repellent. I mean, does anyone say: "Look, a Farhi building! let's rent here!" I have heard many first hand stories about what a jackass the guy (and his company) is.

The Freeps has been gutted again, mostly substituting NatPost stuff.

I remember several Free Press articles 10 or more years ago involving him, and he came across as a really angry alpha male type. The plastering of his name everywhere makes him look just that more smug.

So I am fairly new to home ownership ...finally..... Now time for some renos. I need a reference for an electrician, a plumber and a painter. anyone got any go to guys/gals? i have been doing research on painters, getting quotes etc and they seem a bit scuzzy actually! I liked this property management company my friend recommended and they actually did some good work for them. has anyone else used Property Management for home renos? seemed weird to me! Has anyone used them? would really love to have a solid reference before i pull the trigger. Also since i can't seem to find another thread about sports for kids--- i need to put my kinds into some sort of camps for the summer. I know there are the city ones has anyone done them? I have heard Martial Arts Camps are good and there is one here at Sherbourne Martial Arts Academy but i have never heard of them. I had a friend in northern black dragon who said they were good But i have no idea. Any help is appreciated! sorry for such a long post!

I work in one of his buildings. Maintenance and renovations take forever and workmanship is generally terrible. On more than one occasion, workers have left in the middle of jobs only to be replaced by different guys - not sure if they just don't like working for him or aren't getting paid or what. I met him once as well and the best word to describe him is brash.

I'd never choose to do business with him.
