278 1x2x5 white bricks and seven 6x16 dark grey plates (they're behind), and the clear one has 325 transparent panels and 156 1x2 bricks.

I'm going to build an office building but I am building up an inventory of parts before I do so, these will be windows and facade panels. I will probably use the 1x2 transparent black bricks for some sort of entrance feature.

That looks nice, by the way. It could seriously double as decorative art in a corner or entryway. Colored LEDs inside or in the base would be interesting.

I've been building w/Lego since the 70's, and when I saw that building with the curve, I know right then that you can't do a curved building w/Lego, the best I can do is heavily serrated edges. So you can buy speciality parts from Bricklink.com. Interesting!

I also mix Mega-blocks w/Lego because Lego is so slow in introducing new colors. When Mega-blocks came out with their Tropical color collection, I went ape! Ran around town, scooping buckets of them off the shelves!

Why is Lego so slow in introducing new colors!!!

Now, with Mega-blocks, I can make pink, turquoise, lime-green, orange and purple buildings, or mix them up with my Lego collection!

I have 30 skyscrapers in my living room, some up to the ceiling, and I'm going to make an honest effort of trying to upload some photo's of them. I don't pattern any of my buildings after real buildings already built, mine are all fantasy towers! And I think in terms of mixed colored, all-glass buildings!

That was one of the disappointments with Legoland, as I surveyed the buildings, as a number of these buildings were utilizing specialized parts you can't find in the Lego buckets!

I did the exact same thing! I made some design changes to the Ford Anglia to let it run in front of the train just like in Chamber of Secrets. I also ordered two extra passenger cars from Bricklink and numbered the cars to make it more realistic.

Since we're on the subject, here's my younger brother's tree with the Holiday Train running underneath.
