meh. it's quite cartoonish and silly in its references, but silly isn't always the worst thing in the world. yeah the proportions are WAY off, but that's an indictment of po-mo in general, not this tower specifically.

for an absolute po-mo atrocity in milwaukee check out 1000 N Water. mansard roofs and arch tops together at last! and the eternally klassy choice of pink glass!!!!

Neither one of those bother me, to be honest.

If i have a least favorite Milwaukee building, it's got to be 411 East Wisconsin:





One of the reasons i'm excited to see so much activity downtown is that these new Milwaukee high-rises will take your eye off 411 East Wisconsin.

I can see how some people might not like 100 East but it is one of my favorites in the city. NML takes that title now.
