Nothing's more exciting than a beautiful skyline!
these people really believe every city other than New York can be summed up by naming 2 or 3 cliches. That even applies to Chicago. Non NYC cities are places they visit rarely when there is a significant national story and they view these places as tourists do and look for the top foods and some cliche attractions and that sums everything up- then back on the plane or train to NYC.

BTW, I never had a "Philly Cheesesteak" at Coney Island because I have my doubts that they can do justice to THE SANDWICH.

The other day, I was in the Reading Terminal and realized that Keven Parker's had a big-ass banner up saying they were the best fried chicken in America, according to the Food Network.

The Food Network really loves the RTM.

It may still be slow compared with other projects, but this seems to be moving right along, now that they've cleared the larger, lower floors.

So close to the office building next door! Are there windows in 500 Walnut facing that building? They must look right in.

On another note, I love the cobblestone street in the last pic. They should keep the remaining cobblestone (or maybe they're Belgian blocks) in tact.

Good call Johnland. They are Belgian block. So many people call them "cobblestones". Actually, most of the paved streets in that area, and other areas nearby, still have the Belgian blocks underneath the pavement.

There are some actual "cobblestone" streets, or walkways, in that area.

More paneling up, now on the 5th street side. Not a big fan. Looks cheap to me. I'm sure the people who buy these condos, by all accounts insane on the inside, will not care.
