MONTREAL | Gallery Lofts sur le Canal (3 phases) | 14 FLOORS

I have to say that I really like the architecture of this one (as opposed to some of the generic buildings going up in Griffintown). The location is also excellent.

It is located next to the Wellington Street Bridge over the Lachine Canal in Griffintown.

The sales office is opening on June 2 at 8am. I hope it does well!

If only they actually showed the building. All I see are interiors and some balconies.

In any case I agree, perfect location. That, along with the other dozen or so projects to the east will make the Lachine Canal all that more impressive!

I think its really going to depend on the quality of the materials they use, i.e. brick and windows, that determines if this design is a success or not. It could be a masterpiece or cheap and dull. But from the video it looks great! I really hope the bricks have that rustic, natural look.

Kind of a neat shot taken back in September of the site/sales office.

This is a great project, but i am not sure it is getting enough ground from what i saw. The lady told me a usual "sales are doing good" speech that i seemed to believe at first but not at the end. When looking through their units, which was all online and not paper, kind of shock actually, their seemed to be a lot available. And when i mean a lot, I mean a lot. Maybe I was hitting "lucky empty floors".
At the end though, I was glad to go there because it is an amazing project, and the Picture that every single computer there had as a screen saver had the best griffintown rendering I had seen so far!

This is gorgeous. I'd be thrilled if Toronto got something like this in the East Bayfront lands.

This will go a long way into densifying Griffintown. It will be a grand entry way to the neighbourhood when coming from the bridge.

That's some elite massiveness right there. Will pair up nicely with the other behemoth across the canal.

Wellington between peel and de la montagne will be absolutely buzzing once all these new people are moved in. I can already see it starting to happen this summer.
