One thing is clear: There will be blank window-less walls on the podium. At least they are putting some sort of "pattern" on it, and at least it won't really be visible with all the other developments in the area.

Also, I really hope they remove the Habs logo from the top. I don't mind a subtle one (perhaps on one of the blank walls of the podium).

This caught my eye:
Quote:
The Cadillac Fairview Bell Centre project features the Tour des Canadiens and an office tower to be completed in 2015. The project is scaled down from the original three condo towers my colleague Andy Riga wrote about in 2011, but would be part of a larger $1 billion multi-phase development plan by Cadillac Fairview.
http://blogs.montrealgazette.com/201...-condo-market/

Tour des Canadiens: $175 million
Tour Deloitte: $100 million
----------------------------------
Total announced so far: $275 million

Cadillac Fairview also owns the land on the south side of Saint Antoine Street.

There was speculation a few years ago that Cadillac Fairview and the AMT would construct a new transit hub in this location. That project was valued at approximately $520 million.

If I had photoshop I'd make a little render of this escalier effect (nudge nudge)

Du nord on ne verra pas autant cet effet, puisqu''il va avoir les 2 tours du Roccabella et les 2 Icones qui vont venir cacher (en tout ou en partie selon la perspective) L'avenue et tour du CH

I regret that the hotel component of this project was withdrawn It Would Have 10 additional floors. Especially having a hotel adjacent to the Molson Centre would have an assured success thanks to all the events happening there.

Good work buddy, a fine addition to the current stock, no doubt.
