I wonder if those last two elevations are outdated. The public space up top doesn't look any higher than ESB's deck and they said it would be.

Crazy how they essentially stretched a 900+ foot office building into a 1270 foot one by lots of empty space up top.

Thanks for the update! I may have brought it up before, but that tower crane is on rails. Never seen anything like that. Unbelievable. Pure American ingenuity.

Looks like some repetition going on, but I would not be angry if this is what's built.

Loving the potential density. This btw, the yards, when complete, could be any other city skyline. Most cities don't even have what we will be seeing in Phase 1.

Looking at the rendering, for sake of aesthetics, it will be cool how it will look as the far background will be the 57th street supertalls.

Related's other large tower, 50 HY will be built before anything in phase 2. A placeholder of that should have been included in the render.
Now imagine the render with Manhattan West, 3 Hudson, the supertall across the street by SHoP, it gets a lot more dense than the render shows.

Here's how it all stacks up for Related...

Great if it all gets built. Don't know why but first glance at the big picture has resemblance to some Dubai/Abu Dhabi schemes. That said I love NY and don't really give a monkeys what they do in that part of the world. Go Hudson Yards.

Only thing I don't like about the Hudson Yards is it doesn't really have a signature tower that stands out. Like 30 Hudson Yards is still tall by New York standards but due to all the other towers being so tall it doesn't really stand out.

30 Hudson Yards is plenty tall (and will appear so). However the towers around it are tall as well, and have only gotten taller over time. Even though 30 Hudson Yards will easily be one of the tallest buildings in the city, it probably should have been 100-200 feet taller.

Hopefully it'll be a residential in phase 2. I could see them making a hefty profit going mid-high luxury on one of them. Lots of room for height when we start playing around with ceiling heights, and trying to fit a lot of units in a small plot. Either that or a mixed used.

Yeah, that is basically downtown L.A. in one development.
