Panorama Tower | Drone View

Pretty cool aerial drone view over the construction site from several hundred feet up. At 0:50 seconds you can see the Brickell Citi Centre complex rising with it's triple 500+ footers rising in the distance.

Panorama Tower secures $340M construction loan

Brian Bandell
Senior Reporter-South Florida Business Journal

Florida East Coast Realty obtained a $340 million construction loan for its 83-story Panorama Tower on Brickell.
Wells Fargo Bank, acting as an administrative agent for a group of lenders, provided the mortgage to TWJ 1101 LLC, an affiliate of Florida East Coast Realty, whose principal Tibor Hollo signed off on the loan. Construction has started on the project at 1101 Brickell Ave.
The developer is counting on funds from the EB-5 visa program for about 20 percent of the $800-million project.

A very large pouring of concrete is expected this week. Precisely Saturday and Sunday.

Florida’s Largest Single Foundation Poured at Site of $800M Apartment Tower in Miami

Quote:
The site of the 83-story Panorama Tower in Miami spans 14,677 cubic yards, making it Florida’s largest single foundation in history. The continuous concrete pour held last weekend comprised more than 1,200 loads spread out between 175 cement trucks pouring for a consecutive 22.5 hours. Upon completion, Florida East Coast Realty’s Panorama Tower will be the tallest residential tower on the Eastern seaboard south of New York and the tallest building (830 feet) in the state of Florida. The project includes 16 miles of auger cast piles, more than 3,500 tons of reinforcing steel, 13.5 million pounds of cement, 15.3 million pounds of sand, 25.8 million pounds of rock and 495,000 gallons of water. For the $800 million tower, Florida East Coast Realty is using a $340 million construction loan from Wells Fargo, which is the largest construction loan in South Florida. Mosche Cosicher designed the tower to feature a 2,000-car parking garage, 100,000 square feet of medical office space, a 208-room hotel, 50,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and 64 stories of residential space totaling 821 rooms.

" WOW! " But, is THIS tower 83 stories or 80 as the thread description? Can someone clarify that? This is my first time seeing this project's thread. But, perhaps, that was explained in the previous thread pages.:

Its 80 floors and 822 feet. This is confirmed by the CTBUH and other sources on the tower. Some of the sources go to 82, but most tend to resort to 80 floors.

I'm too lazy to count the rendering floors, but that should give a precise answer.

If I'm not mistaken this will be the first building in the hemisphere outside of NY and Chicago to have 80 floors, despite the relatively low ceiling height.

I think your right too because Salesforce only has 60 and Wilshire Grand 73 floors. Even 432 Park has 85 floors so Panorama is not to far off.

It looks like it's been a while since we had an update on this building. The construction cam is up so it's going to be way easier to keep up on this building.

JR, I would be more inclined agree with you if this was something being built in nyc but I think that Miami is way different than ny and so you have to expect Miami to get different buildings than ny. I think this one isn't the most beautiful, but it adds mass to the skyline and in the future hopefully the skyline will be punctuated by some really cool ny style towers.
