The 'sidewalk' is a detour of the Lance Armstrong Bikeway detour to construct the MetroRapid station. The tree will also eventually be moved to Shoal Creek adjacent to the New Central Library.

So glad they're including 50 affordable housing units in this project. Definitely going to follow it and see if I can snatch one of them up!

I still haven't gotten used to the word 'station' when referencing what's basically a bus stop. When I hear "station" I think of something large. I just hope that that indentation/detour isn't permanent. It would be awkward for it to eat into the GreenWater lot that much.

The side walk is temporarily, I can't see the developers leaving that side wall facing the street.

They started pouring cement today for the...

This is embarrassing I can't remember the word for it in English... They drill the holes for them and put rebar in and fill it with cement to anchor the foundation.

Anyway they started that so honestly I'd say it's pretty much past site prep, or really damn close to being past it.

Yes, exactly, thank you. I was just sitting there like "буронабивные сваи" completely unable to figure out what the word was in English.

I agree. It's exciting. Honestly I feel like it'll start to really make an impact before August, in fact I'd put money on the first step-back starting before the end of June.

I really cannot tell what the hell they're doing there with that tiny little hole, the spiraling slope action, and that grey gravel stuff. Are they doing the parking garage already? Don't they need to board up the sides? I'm confused.

They are stepping it up to ground level on the right side, then they will do the same on the left, and then they will shore up the sides.
