I wonder whether this means that most of the delays have been related to financing issues. Kind of sounds like it.

Well, if they were, they aren't any longer. I'm perfectly happy with this project moving forward, because it is different than everything else we're getting.

I think they had to scale back a bit....look at the tiny pool they settled for.

I love this building for the simple fact that it has throw back elements. Brick, wrought iron, flags and lions above the doorways. Classy and a nice touch fronting the park.

Tower crane plans. This only shows the spreadsheet and not the plans showing the diagram. I didn't see a date indicating when they were putting it up either. Still, this is a good sign.

Tower crane permits are a 100% lock that the start of construction is a done deal. Well, at least until I see a project fail after the crane permit is filed. So far I have never seen that in Austin, but this is not a crane filing. I am really surprised however that one hasn't been filed for this project yet because excavation seems to have hit bottom.

It's definitely underway (again) even without a crane permit.

Although they did file for a site plan extension about a week ago which is odd because the project is underway, and the approved site plan doesn't expire until next summer.

There was quite a lot of activity this morning when I drove by, with two pylon drilling machines working.

The actual tower crane permit was filed on Tuesday (10/18). But it doesn't list a specific installation date.
