Totally forgot about this one. The windows look pretty good on the first few floors.

This is interestingly slender for a 230 foot tower. I'm really liking this siding, whatever material is is.

Wow. Almost completely done with the curtain wall.

And just like that --*blink*-- we've got another Hilton Garden Inn.

Please tell me they are going to paint that blank concrete wall. Please. How about a nice, Austin-weird, artsy mural?

Acutually, live, the formed concrete is the most interesting material on the building at this point.
It's really a unfortunately cheap feeling finish out. I'm sure it was a client need for inexpensive build for what started as a suburban sub-brand.
The folly behind the fence also has some unfortunate "stone" that is being added to the originally dark brick that will undoubtedly take the "edge" off the warehouse feel the ground level originally had.
On the plus side, at least the architects tried to play with a graphic that will pull the building out of totally design oblivion.
Ouch.ooops. ( sorry , I blame the crappy week)

I actually don't think the south side looks that bad. The textured cement worries me that it might develop staining eventually, but it looks better than other bare cement walls I've seen, plus its relatively small compared to the rest of the building. I give this box a B- mostly because its away from downtown and near the rest of the meh structures near the campus. It has skyline merit where it sits.

Boy that blank concrete wall just screams out "build something that covers me up."

Makes me wonder if there're plans for the rest of that block. At least a couple of those storefronts look possibly historical, or historical adjacent.

Or just give it a mural. Especially if you're trying to attract the flashpacker set.
