Great new timelapse of the Expo line, where you can see some of the underground tunnels and the part of the city under Cordova st at the very end. You can also see all the development along the way, as the train starts out in Surrey, goes through New West, Burnaby (inlcuding Metrotown), then Collingwood, and finally into the densest part of Vancouver.

I enjoyed watching this as someone who's only gone east of Stadium station maybe twice ever. I wish our skytrain network was more extensive, it really helps areas that would otherwise be undesirable.

I wasn't going to share this because a lot of it is just recycled tourism video footage but people have gone mad about it here, recognizing people they know, seeing themselves in it, etc.

Part II is now out. Love this one.

The bride in rubber boots was my favourite.

Filmed this today. A little taste of driving around an outport (our term for a rural fishing village). All of the roads are basically one lane... it's the most Irish thing about the island to me.

Montréal in 1995. It is claimed to be the first hyperlapse ever.

Thanks to MICHO on mtlurb for the find.

I don't want to nitpick, but it is clearly said at the end of the video that "Pacer was shot between January and April 1995".

It seems however that another short film, Pace, was shot in 1991 by the same guy.

Fascinating video.

Incredible how much this street changed. What is the large building that was being demolished? I don't have any recollection of it at all.
