That parking garage is such a waste of space. Could they build on top of it like they are doing with Ascent Peachtree?

I think they can, but since that site will be surrounded by 25 story buildings, a tall (25 story) building there would not have any views in any direction, and the other three buildings surrounding it would have their views severely blocked. I think this site won’t be built on for a very long time because high rise tenants expect views here in Atlanta

It looks as though the student tower for Tech is actually connected to the NS Towers. Can someone confirm this?

I think it’s just zero lot line both built right to the property line for a true wall of building

You can see the distinction between the projects here. This photo appears to be taken from 3rd street looking south. NS HQ on the left and the student housing on the right.

While we weren't watching, NS towers have shot up out of the ground.

I don't think this was mentioned elsewhere, but I came across an article about signage for the tower. What's interesting is that the article has several diagrams with annotated building dimensions. Based on those images, it would seem that the taller of the two towers will be about 350ft as measured from Spring Street (about 20' less from West Peachtree).

I'm hoping that's not the color they're going with for the student tower...
