Chiming in from the Eastside, I just wanted to say that things are really booming in Pasadena's Playhouse District. Aside from
Playhouse Plaza (which has topped out) and
Union Village (which is excavated), I google-fued an article tonight about work starting on
two more vacant, eyesore lots in close proximity on Walnut. Also, Hotel Contstance has reopened from what I understand. I haven't been down to check it out just yet.
Also, long time tenant Mccormicks and Scmicks closed down quickly and quietly in the plaza just across from City Hall. I can't wait to see what develops and spend my days daydreaming about what tenants might fill all of this new commerical space in my neighborhood! And, oh how I long for the old days of Brigham Yen and his wonderful Pasadena coverage. Love this stuff!!!
