Arrow Texas' 10 Tallest U/C

Came across this top 10 tallest list for Canada (here), why not track buildings here height wise as well? The height figures shown below may not be impressive, but things will change over time as new buildings begin; others wrap up construction. Feel free to post construction updates for the projects listed.

1. 609 Main at Texas (Houston): 752 ft / 229 m

2. The Independent (Austin): 690 ft / 210 m

3. Fairmont Hotel (Austin): 595 ft / 181 m

I can't confirm it, but Fifth & West should have had some cement poured by now. At 459' it would be #6.

I was thinking the project is at that stage as well. Once an update is provided 5th & West will be up.

Another project for Austin that will show up soon is The Independent. Sometime later this month or next month, it will come in at #2 - 688 feet.

Nice thread concept. Will you continually edit the opening post to keep the list there fresh, or will updates only be shown in subsequent comments? I vote for the former.

For the towers that are nearly complete: Northshore will open to residents in March and BHP Billiton will move tenants in by October.

Went ahead and added 5th & West at #6, which knocked the Methodist Inpatient Hospital (Houston) off the list.

With the caissons now being built I would say the Independent should be put at #2 on the list. And with that, the Google tower gets booted from the list.

Edit: Move ins have started on the lower floors of #9 Northshore. So maybe that one should be removed instead of #10 Google tower.
