my new soon-to-be home:

the kitchen is currently being completely remodeled, so the only pic i have of the inside is of the old dreary kitchen.

Around 540 USD, I think.

Maybe I'll take some later today when I get home from work. Right now my building is still going though some renovations outside. They did take the scaffling off the front of the building. Inside I'm working on a few project as well and I'm almost done. I'm just waiting to have hardwood floors installed in the living area and then new paint.

Keep this thread up for when I move this summer to a neighbourhood where I can afford anything bigger than a shoe box.

WOW! I love what you've done with the place. It looks real warm and cozy.

You must be paying a fortune in rent.

Well as I said earlier, its a work in progress. Hopefully soon my hardwood floors will be installed

INSIDE:
My new kitchen floor, and granite counter tops.

As you can see in this photo the suplies are in. I really need to call Expo to find out whats taken them so long to schedule an appointment for my wood floors. Oh btw that leopard rug was given to me, its not my taste. I had to put it down because a friend gave it to me and ask if I was using it.

Before Picture Outside:

Today Outside:
They just took the scaffleing off he front about a month ago. There is still work to be done like rebuild the patios (mine) on the 1st floor, and put in new landscaping.

This is the side of the building and how the front used to look like a month ago. I suspect this will be coming down in the next few weeks.

why can't people ever follow the rules when someone posts a thread with a specific request?

Why do some people have to be an ass? If there is a problem with who create the thread (which I doubt) than I'll respect that.

Thanks!

I have to say your place is very nice as well. One thing I notice is most everyone have hardwood floors. At one time that was rare here in Los Angeles, but now its seem to be the norm.

Jivecity: I like those doors on what looks like a bedroom. About the only problem I would have is if others live in the unit with you, and there would be no privacy.

the all brick one with the snowman flag (obviously this isn't from this year, because we've only had a few dustings of snow thus far):

after 5 yrs, still a work in progress, but finally could (sort of) afford new furniture (the one seater will be moved upstairs and replaced with a brown one once I scare up some more $):
