I like the guy in the back wearing the red shirt wiping away his tears of joy. *Sniff* "It's so beautiful!"

None of the mechanical louvers on the south face are depicted in that model but the blow through floor looks as it does today

On a building this tall, there is no “back side”.

In what was otherwise a terrible game, we did get this rather lovely shot of the tops of the supertalls during the Saints-Bears game.

Hate to say it but I would have preferred a shorter tower over the blow-through floor. Holding out hope that they will do something to make it less horrible....

Fingers crossed they at least paint it in a color similar to the glass above/below it.

Agreed love the tower, but the blow-through floor is just hideous. They gotta correct that, right?

I honestly don't understand the hate for the blow-through floor. Do I think it adds to the aesthetics of the tower... no, but I don't think it's an eyesore either. I personally am completely awestruck whenever I see Vista up close, more so than with Sears or almost any other building in the city except maybe JHC. The glass is simply magical and mesmerizing on many days, and to me completely pulls any focus off of the blow-through or the louvers.
