I think he is just being cautious. Signature Tower was an embarrassing disappointment. Since this is possibly Tony G's first tower after that bust, I think it's okay to be cautiously optimistic.
What intrigues me about this one is the fact that Megellan Development is on board along with the same architects who designed Aqua. Giarratana may have played this one close to the vest and be close to getting this one out of the ground. I guess we will all have to wait and see.
After reading the report that was attached to the article from the Post, it is readily apparent that there is a huge demand for downtown Nashville housing right now and we remain far behind comparable cities in the number of available units. Perhaps we can support both this project and Hensler's high-end tower in the Gulch.
