Thanks wwmiv, I was too embarrassed to ask, especially now that I know because I fly with them all the time.

Here's a few routes I think are possible in the future:

AUS-SFO, Alaska
AUS-LAX, Alaska
AUS-LAX, Virgin
AUS-SAN, Alaska?
AUS-BOS, Delta
AUS-CVG, DeltaConn
AUS-LGA, DeltaConn/AE (slot-permitting)

Not so sure about AUS-LAX on Virgin considering their fall through Love-Field. I think the most likely would be the Boston flight via Delta, and this would make Austin have flights to all of Delta's domestic hubs/hublets (until Cincy happens).

Haha, my thoughts went here as well, but I was thinking about the sheer number of cars...

I like that they remembered to provide shade on the roof level.

So we should be expecting January's passenger numbers to come out any day now. I'm really curious about what they show.

I like the outside ramp, don't know if its an entrance or exit, or both, but it should free up more parking inside. Also, the curved admin building, sort of resembles the terminal fill in structure, I'm all for continuity, even if that wasn't the intention.

It looks like there are two ramps - one above and one beneath. The one beneath seems to me to be the entrance; the above seems to be the exit as it curves to the east and would follow the existing traffic flow to the exit for other parking areas.

Great Design for fast and easy access to every level. I've used parking garages with this design and was shocked at how accessible every level was. If this is two, one direction ramps...WoW! Very Well Done Designers!

The smaller terminal, located south of the airport tower and accessible only from Burleson Road, will open April 13.

But then the very last paragraph of the article says this:

A shuttle will run frequently from the South Terminal for passengers making connections and going to the rental car facility at the main terminal. During peak times, the shuttle will run every 10 minutes.
Sounds like if people go to the main terminal by mistake, they could still get to the South Terminal using that shuttle.

This is Texas. If you can't drive directly there and park immediately adjacent, you can't get there.

These renderings from Gensler were posted earlier, but I found some bigger ones where you can see a lot more detail.

Gensler has a Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Expansion page on it's website now. Looks like it was created February 17, 2017.

It's the same 4 renderings, but you can look at a full-screen version of them and see even more detail than the ones I posted above.
