I recall riding those
old cars down to the stadium back in the day to see a Phillies game or the Spectrum for when the Harlem Globetrotters played.
I've always wished the subway cars in NYC were upgraded, in particular: the Q,W,A,F, etc. were some of the old fleet back in the day!
In particular, we always had the old fleet until the 4,5,6 lines on Lexington Ave got the new cars. I loved them as much as the Broad Street cars (believe me).
