Wow, that was so horrendous, gross and filthy.
I can remember my childhood back then. Sometimes we had tons of dead fish drifting along the Seine river.
That wasn't only a grim sight, the smell was also insufferable along the river. Crossing a bridge would cause you some bad nausea.
It wasn't too frequent, but whenever it would occur, it would feel like some stupid apocalypse.
And people wouldn't eat the fish from the river. They were like radioactive. Lol.
Today, we have some 30 species of fish that came back to the region, to thrive again over here.
