I would rather work on one large city with a few outside squares or "suburbs".

suggestion find a map on st you like create a folder for it create your own index.bmp file that a couple pixels by a couple pixels

1 small region is 1 pixel red
medium 2x2 pixels green
large 4x4 pixels blue

and you can actually come back and ad onto it on the bottom and to the right on your maps thats what i have done with mine witch originally was the London map...

I got Sim City 4 on Deluxe for about $15 on Amazon. If you have a Mac it's like $53 though.

I bought it for my laptop. I made sure to buy a really good laptop just so it would run sim city 4.

3000 bucks over a game, thats how awesome it is.

SimCity 4 is a great game (for those interested in urban sim games) and is the best one on the market.

I haven't gotten tired of playing it and I bought it when it first came out.

I was so addicted to this game about a year ago, its so awesome and I would spend hours and hours perfecting my cities, i used cheats and plopped all the buildings individually as the game really isnt realistic when you just let stuff grow. I downloaded like everything possible from simtropolis. I got so frustrated with it though because it would take about 10 minutes to start up on my computer and then it would usually crash my computer about 3 or 4 times while playing it so i just stopped. Once I get a new computer that has more room on it then ill start playing it again, man my cities were awesome! haha I miss the game!

If you buy it, you should buy the expansion pack Rush Hour as well. It's a very nice game, good improvement from SimCity 3000 (I got them both).
