Hello Everyone,
A little while back I started a thread called "Historic Chicago". My intent was that people could post historic photogaphs of the Chicago Skyline in order to discover an appreciate the great Architectural Diversity and ever changing Chicago landscape. After a few key posts by certain individuals, the thread includes a great deal of awesome photographs from Chicago's Past.

The goal of THIS thread is to focus on the PROGRESS of the city's spectacular skyline.
My hopes are that forumers might reference images from the Historic Chicago Thread, and post their own photographs from the same vantage points as the Historic Images.
Please be very careful to be as accurate as possible in the positioning and matching of your photographs! It would be nice if the photographs taken were cropped to the same proportion as Historic Photograph you are trying to match.
I am including what I consider to be a GREAT example post by SolarWind. It was this post that gave me the idea to open this thread. Please post the historic image first, followed by your shot.
I am very eager to see your work.
