It looks like the southern section of the tower is higher than the rest of the building so its not quite topped out.

Pic with the beautiful Opus 2 pool in the foreground. Probably should have posted this in the Photo of the day thread.

I'm bet it is tied up (in a knot) in litigation.

Lol - I remember when the most recent rumor by the idiots was that the Chinese conglomerate had come in, It was now going to build three huge towers 🤣🤣🤣

Just a disgrace - that lot will eventually be sold

I see from the photo the 1230 w peachtree condo building is finally replacing the 1987 faded green roof with a new roof. The building is going to look great when that is replaced.

Can't wait to see that vantage with a gleaming tower in the upper right hand side.

And since it's a higher elevation, it will look taller than the "IBM" Tower.

I don't think it will look taller, but it will appear almost as tall. IBM is 824' and this one is 730 (or so) I don't there will be any 'distant' perspectives from which the new tower appears taller. (unless from the south where the new tower is much closer to the eye)

In terms of occupied floors, I believe 1072 will be significantly higher than One Atlantic Center. The latter's highest occupied floor is around 1,600' ASL, then it has over 150' of spire on top.

Since 1072 lacks a spire, I think its highest occupied floor will be almost 100' higher than OAC.

Believe me, 1072 is going to look big in the skyline--it will look comparable to OAC from many perspectives. It will give a mini-Midtown Manhattan vibe to that part of Midtown to have such a tall, slender residential highrise.
