Sawtooth,
Gorgeous pics. Screen saver material. Forumers are quiet when it comes to responding to photographs here in this local forum, but your contributions are appreciated and I think a lot of the Boise forumers just count on you sharing your talent here at SSP. It is almost as if Boise is part of your soul... or something like that.

Awesome pictures, SAWTOOTH!! Thank you so much. I apologize for the late reply, I'm with my niece in San Fran recovering from major surgery and have been preoccupied. I appreciate your response very much.

Oooh I didn't know those are LED's. I thought they were just passive accents to the windows. Interesting to see what they will look like lit up.

I was hoping something like Crescent Rim over Ann Morrison Park or even something from the other side, maybe at the top of Camel's Back or Table Rock? Any takers? Again, thanks for all the updates, posts and pictures. I feel like I've been watching this building first hand. Cheers!

^^^ Looks like you found the angle Boise Bro was asking about in the "your favorite photo view" thread. That location really shows off the building stock.

I never mentioned it before, but I've really enjoyed the lighting on your late evening shots of the Zions Tower. Thanks for posting them.

i've always wondered what the night lighting will look like for the building.

think the top two floors will be lit up, too? or maybe just the signs that go on them will be backlit?

it'd be cool if those LED lights changed color. blue and orange during football season, green and red during the holidays, etc.

Here is another from their Facebook page. It's nice that the big parking lot in the foreground no longer exists. Wasn't the Wells Fargo tower originally another bank when it was built?

CTA found this amazing and tragic photo of the Eastman building on fire back in 1987. Gardner Company is working on a historical display to go in the lobby of our new 8th & Main building. It will include a historical timeline of the site, an actual lion head from the Eastman building, a sculpture made out of the rebar left on the site, and this photo of the fire.

Do you have any artifacts from the 8th & Main site over the years? Please let us know if you do, and if you are interested in them being on display in the new building! Please contact Jen at jen@gardnercompany.net
