The northbound lane is the other side of the street. They've been working on Broad in different areas for a couple of weeks. I think they might be repairing water mains.

Surprised no one has mentioned that the exterior of the building has changed slightly as well (more glazing on east side and a darker brown too)

I just received an email from CSP. A couple of interesting things...It says that they are currently preparing the site for the crane installation, but there is no timeline. It also mentions a local company who are going to be documenting the construction process. They will be setting up interviews and installing a time lapse photography camera.

Woke up this morning to find this sight:

Here's a shot of the Centre Square crane being assembled, with Hill Tower III's crane in the background:

Plus possibly FCC-2 and that other project on Rose (which could require 2 cranes). Exciting times in Regina.

FCC-2 wont be for at least a year. It does not need to be completed before 2015.

It does not look like Albert and 11th will have a crane. Too bad. Cranes are great symbols.

Also wouldn't be surprised if Capital Pointe has 2 cranes.

Any idea when the office tower on Rose gets going?

Depending how rapidly they build this project, there is a chance that the crane could still be on-site a year from now. But you're probably right, it'll most likely be done by the time FCC starts up.

Based on what?

Having no knowledge of the details of this project myself, I agree, but I'm curious to know more about where the "completed before 2015" comment came from.

If I remember correctly, that's when their current lease agreement is up.

Yep... Capital Pointe is going to have 2 cranes.

And, just what are they going to do with those 2 cranes? Move the nice blue fence around?

i think the fact that they are advertising on the fence that they have financing from Fortess Capital tells me they will start construction soon.
