^^I'm not among those who hate it. It's simple but starkly attraactive to me.

The West Side - August 4, 2018

Not much to see from the Civic Center but a gray column. The only good think that I can say about this one from my view is that it blends in very well with the blue haze & will be partially obscured by 500 Folsom Street.

The last panels should be in place by the end of today, Saturday, or on Monday.

400 Folsom Street

I've noticed that too, that this building can blend into the blue sky behind it too well at times!

not in these pics so much, tho

View from the Salesforce Transit Center 8/11/2018

Saturday was the first opening of the transit center for the general public. Tens of thousands of people visited by my estimate! On Monday the bus bridge will be very busy for the first day commuters will be using the terminal.

I love how this building turned out. The lighter blue that blends into the sky makes it look beautiful even if the side facing the city doesn't have any cutouts or interesting designs.

Nice! The south face is definitely where it's at for this tower.

Looking great, a solid tower with a more interesting podium.

the shroud is off most of the 'back' (north) side of the podium

and a peek into the retail passage (from the Folsom (south) side), with the lovely view of the off-ramp
