Its great to see Myriad Gardens getting surrounded by development, that is a cool place on its own but surrounded by highrises it will only get more interesting.

Does anyone have any specs on the proposed hotels that were going to go in near here back before the oil bust? It would be neat to put those in the city diagram along with the recently added diagram of BOK. I'll see what i can come up with for the no defunct OG&E buildings. It would also be nice to show the old Biltmore that was demo'd for the Myriad Gardens. I thought that there was a diagram on here a while back, not sure what happened to it.

An accident occurred over the weekend.

Oklahoma City worker falls 14 stories to death

Quote:
A group of men in hard hats and neon vests stood staring up in silent reverence at the towering Oklahoma City construction project that had minutes earlier claimed a man's life, that of their co-worker.

A worker fell Friday from the 14th floor along with a piece of construction equipment called a scissor lift, a platform used to move workers vertically. His name was not released.

According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, the victim and lift fell together off the BOK Park Plaza tower, 499 W Sheridan Ave., a 27-story tower under construction along with two adjacent parking garages.

It would be nice to see a plaque, or of the like, installed in remembrance of the fatality.

Few more shots from Pete from OKCTalk.com. Almost done! I think it turned out pretty well (minus the woeful parking garages)

Still can't get over how fucking massive Devon Tower is compared to everything else and its good to see OKCs skyline expanding a little bit with this tower.

Impactful building, nothing to write home about. Devon is really a crown jewel and BOK complements it nicely it seems.

OKC is certainly a place to keep an eye on.
