That would look pretty cool if they did. Btw, does anyone know what the heck is on each of the roof tops on the Northshore? They look like kimchi pots.

The Austin Business Journal had a story on it opening, including a photo showing one of the balconies.

Are you talking about the white curvy piece seen from Cesar Chavez looking up? That is the base of the pool deck. Just a sculptural underside.

On every roof top of the Northshore, there are what looks like canopies, and its what's underneath them that has me curious.

It's awesome on the inside. If only the outside looked even remotely as cool as the style on the interior...

Well it makes sense, the inside was designed after the outside was designed/under construction. Unfortunately they weren't designed together.

Those are great. I really like the view looking east down the river.

The Aloft Hotel still looks like a prison for the blind to me, though. Ugh.

It would be cool to see it happen. It's crazy how Google has grown. I remember my uncle telling me about this really cool new search engine probably not long after they had started in 1998. I never would have guessed the company would grow to become so big and important to the development of the internet, and end up taking space in a office tower in Austin.

I believe this deloitte sign went up this weekend. Today was the first time I noticed it and I walk past this building nearly every day.

I noticed it too. I guess sinage at the top of the building may not occure. The only sign to indicate that Google is even present within the building is a small sign near one of the entrances. In fact you wouldn't even know that Google takes up most of the building due to how humble and quaint their signage is. It's more like the sort of sign you'd see if a company just had maybe half a floor on some inconspicuous level.

I think I am too. Considering that the building is mostly concealed from many angles, would be a waste of money if such sinage can't be seen well.
