In four days, the Bay Bridge will close so that CalTrans can bring the new eastern span online. Unlike most people, I really like the old bridge, and so I decided to grab some shots of the glorious old riveted beauty before they start slicing and dicing.

In a zoo. You would have to be extremely lucky to see them in the wild these days seeing as their population declined by something like 80% due to a tumour disease. I went to Tasmania 2 years ago and did not see a single one in the wild.
