I was about to say that's a very tight point range but you added on an extra 5 wins for Ottawa.

Maurice can only do so much with a roster that lacks defensemen.

Winnipeg is basically going to live or die by Hellebuyck this year. Maurice still seems like a good coach to me.

Yeah Maurice is a good coach if your a fan of any NHL team not called the Jets!

He’s actually a terrible coach! He had six NHL D men last season and the team went into the tank around the same time as it has this season, 5 wins in the last 19 games, it’s astonishing to anyone here how he still has a job!

And besides someone has to be the most losing coach in NHL history, unlucky for the Jets it’s Maurice! What a guy!

There are more than a few teams that look worse on the back end than the Jets in the league, by a rather large margin. Get the coach to play a reasonble system. The Jets have enough talent to be a top-seven team in the West.

Tkachuk Friendship Tour

The Matt T billboards (electronic) are up in Edmonton. Oilers management must be secretly ecstatic to have this controversy pumping up interest in the Oilers, the Jan. 29th Flames - Oilers game has been sold out, something the Oilers haven't done often this season.

https://edmonton.ctvnews.ca/cheeky-b...ames-1.4779292

And in a season where the economy, past performance and ticket and beer prices combined to end Edmonton’s sellout streak at 548 games, the toughest ticket out there became Jan. 29 at Rogers Place.

The Oilers managed to sell out the first two games of the season against Vancouver and Los Angeles and then Christmas games against Pittsburgh, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and the New Year’s Eve game against the New York Rangers. Most went all the way to game day to sell the last seat. But this one was declared a sellout of primary tickets 11 days prior to the tilt.

"Something the Oilers haven't done often this season" - you're such a TURD...had to throw in that jab eh? Try reversing that on your "Flaming Turtlechucks's" and tell me how many sell outs they've had? Billboard or no billboard - game would have sold out anyway....and who even cares if it is or not. Btw, how are "Chicklets Monahan and Johnny G's - combined 80 points / 13 million/yr" treating the team anyway?

You have the dumbest insults, really. Johnny and Monny are off this year, happens to everyone. Can't wait to see Draisaitl and McDavid pouting in the corner while everyone celebrates Tkachuck and Tkachuck this weekend!

The guy's been around for a long time and has coached a lot. I believe he still has an overall winning record (just for the record). Also, he was getting more out of this roster than just about anyone else could through a big stretch in the fall. The guy took us to the conference finals with a young inexperienced roster for crying out loud. Anyways, I'm not convinced there are many other coaches out there, save maybe Barry Trotz or someone like him, that could really get more out of this group.

At the end of the day, it's just a game anyways.

Haha!!!! "Dumbest" insults? Your's take the grand prize!!! Why would McD and Drai be "pouting in the corner?" That makes no sense......Please - take the spotlight off of them for once and give it to the "TurtleChuck" twins. Why do you think both McD and Drai skipped the media session yesterday?

What a witty rebuttal, you sure showed me!

And the whole point of the ASG is the spotlight, there's no pressure to perform. They obviously skipped the media day because they didn't want to answer questions about Tkachuck, proof that he's in their head! Job well done for Chucky.
