From the renderings it always looked like the color gradients wrap all the way around. Did that change?

No, they wrap all the way around, but because the sun hits the two sides differently, they appear different.

It would be nice to have both, to show how much Chicago's skyline has changed in about 10 years. (The current Wikipedia photo shows Legacy at Millennium Park under construction, so it's probably from 2009.) Vista is obviously enhancing the skyline a lot, but I would say the addition of One Museum Park in 2009 was even more impactful since there had been so few tall buildings in that area. NEMA is reinforcing the "southern wall" even further.

OBP is like the girl in bar that looks good from far away in the dark, but once the lights turn on and it's last call you see all the flaws!

OBP looks so short in that photo, compared with Vista (which of course is a bit closer to the camera).

There are no girls in a bar. They are called women.

The only good thing about OBP is that it pierces the Streeterville plateau

OBP discussion can be moved to that thread so I can tell you all how crazy you are!!

In the meantime, check out these vista ads from instagram. Lol, wasting marketing dollars on me. If I could, I would have a long time ago.

Tbh, I can't find an angle that I like of it from the West... It's best from the North, South, and East. Just looks a little weird

February 28

Since some ingrates were complaining about the lamppost I trekked out after work before meeting the boyfriend. Y’all are lucky he works downtown. Two options for your viewing pleasure depending on whether you like your JHC to the right or left of Vista. It was kind of hard telling where the concrete became ice so I ventured as far as I dared.

Bono, in my experience, best vantage from the West is on the Columbus street bridge, north east corner.

I agree with you and BVic on the Michigan and Columbus bridge views, I kind of had those thrown into my "Northern" perspective as I thought about it, but I could see how those would be Western as well.

Also, amazing shot gandalf!
