The Kirkwood rendering

This will be nice if they don't cut out half of the brick.

Never heard of 290 MLK..wow...these days, it feels like a lot of the random infill projects get by me. 3 years ago, this would have been unheard of.

Curbed had an article on this in December.

It's a toss-up if I would rather have that Accent 2050 development over the rundown strip club thats currently there.

Alexan EAV looks to be completed for a while now. There will be a flood of apartment projects finishing up the rest of this year.

Not sure if it has any chance of getting built but here are a couple of additional renderings of the proposal at Peachtree and 17th.

I guess they intentionally left the houses out of the rendering to make it look like this behemoth wouldn't hulk over anything but a woodsy park.

I noticed that too. I think this might be a little too ambitious of a project for this site considering the proximity with Ansley Park.

Yeah I'm also not sure how I feel about this height in this location. The row of similar sized buildings bordering Ansley adds to the attractiveness of that stretch of Peachtree even though it isn't the most urban.

Does anyone know if The Kirkwood project has started? Their permit has been issued for a while now.

I noticed that the back of Studioplex (facing the Edgewood AVE bridge) is now under construction. It looks like it could be a parking deck as the first phase of their redevelopment.

Isn't the Whole Foods next to Midtown Spring under construction along with the tower..? It's still listed as proposed here.

The Whole Foods is still in permitting which is separate from the tower. The only thing happening on the western half of the site is staging for the tower construction.

I heard there were townhomes that were going there and the hotel was going on the lot closer to the current entrance of the Eastside Beltline trail.
