Wow that might actually be the worst cladding I've ever seen on a residential building.

^ clearly you aint from 'round here. this kind of thing is, regrettably, pretty much par for the course for "value oriented" new developments in this town.

Still better looking than anything in the District Griffin project...Griffintown is going to be one of the most ugly areas in the city when all these low-budget condo blocks go up.

Disagreee. Griffintown is already the ugliest area of the city. I criss-crossed through the entire district yesterday and the new projects already make griffintown look better.

ANd the next generation of projects may look better and less cheap as land values keep rising and competition heats up (talking about the next few decades here).

I actually wouldn't mind it so much if the entire building was like the windowed parts. It still wouldn't be great (it would look like a 1980s tower in Moncton or something), but it would be a hell of a lot better than it is now.

It gives a strange industrial feel to the city - and at least these buildings are shifting downtown southwards (or in reality, eastward! )

Well, it's a step up from the bunkers of the Concordia ghetto, I'll give it that.

So, that makes it easier to destroy, right?
