Very nice, Mike! That view from I-35 bridge, man, looks like a real city.

I call that cluster with 360 the mini Manhattan cluster. It will live up to my hype when the Independent is added to the mix. We are indeed starting to look legit as a big city.

Are there actually two separate types of glass or is just the way the light is hitting the two sections?

Based on other photos of the building, I would guess that it is the lighting.

The remaining crane is scheduled to come down this weekend. But this area will still be a nice crane cluster once the Austin Proper and 3rd +Shoal cranes go up, and the Independent cranes get raised.

I meant to post these earlier. The last crane started coming down Friday morning.

The end result is actually not too bad as far as big boxy rectangles go. There's a lot of variation with shapes and glass patterns. Every side has a different look, like several building blocks put together. Looking at it from the north gives an impression that they clustered a bunch of smaller buildings right up against and on top of each other.

I hope they light up that top part of the Google tower, but I'm thinking the apartments across the street may have something to say about that.

Went on a walk last night and it's now lit up at night! I likes it!

Well, it looks better at night for sure. It is just a depressing slab of black glass from most angles during the daytime, and it somehow detracts from the already not very inspiring appearance of the Northshore Condos.

Not a huge fan of this building during the day, but that lighting is awesome! Really makes an impression on the skyline.

More lighting like this will be great on the rest of the buildings coming, really makes the city feel alive and kind of futuristic?
